Meet Ojovbo Jonathan Oghenetega, better known as Legendary_shot_it or Tega Lee, a Lagos-based photographer whose artistry is built on emotion, storytelling, and timeless vision.
Specializing in portraits, nude art, and landscapes, Tega Lee approaches photography as more than documentation. For him, it is a dialogue, a way to evoke emotion and provoke thought. “I want my images to live forever,” he says, describing his mission to create work that feels fresh and relevant for years to come.

His images often carry a bold yet intimate quality. From experimental hair sculptures to minimalist black-and-white portraits, his work blurs the line between reality and imagination, asking viewers to pause, reflect, and feel.
Tega Lee’s creative process is as intentional as his photographs. Music plays a central role: “I always listen to music before any of my shoots, it sets the mood for what I want to achieve.” Rhythm, sound, and emotion guide his vision before the shutter even clicks.

Equally important is communication. “I try to converse properly with my clientele or model and make them understand what I’m trying to achieve,” he explains. For him, building trust and understanding creates the freedom for authentic expression in front of the lens.
Editing is another ritual that reflects his artistry. “I love editing when I’m in the mood, and most times, I edit late at night when everywhere is peaceful,” he shares. In those quiet hours, his work transforms, carrying the depth and stillness of the night into each final frame.

Beyond photography, Jonathan finds inspiration in documentaries, films, football, and video games. These interests sharpen his eye for storytelling and broaden the emotional range of his art. His personal experiences and feelings also flow into his work, giving it a raw honesty that resonates deeply.

At Wavy365, we celebrate Tega Lee not just for his photography, but for his vision, an artist committed to turning fleeting moments into timeless stories that live forever.
